Your organic garden and Malcolm’s exquisite taste creations were a gift. โค๏ธPASTINAโค๏ธthe Italian penicillin, as the Nonnas call it! This bowl of love will cure any ailment. It worked for me! I used Duck Stock, because that’s what I had on hand, but chicken broth is traditional. Add an onion, carrots and celery and a whole head of garlic. Simmer for 30 minutes until tender. Pop the garlic out of the skin. Puree all the vegetables with the broth and season well with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Make your favorite pastina in a separate pot of boiling water. Stelline is the traditional tiny star shape, but these Acini de Pepe are a little easier to find. Toss with butter, salt, pepper and Parmigiano Reggiano, then ladle over the broth and garnish with fresh parsley.

Homemade French Onion Dip demands a seat at your Super Bowl Party! Ditch the packaged onion soup mixes filled with chemicals and artificial flavorings and make a fresh, easy dip! Chop 2 large onions and saute in a little olive oil and butter until very caramelized and golden brown, about 30 min. Let cool and then add to 2 cups organic sour cream, ½ cup organic mayo or soy-free veganaise. Season with sea salt, freshly ground black pepper, paprika and a little cayenne. Stir to combine and serve with your favorite potato chips!!! Good luck to your team tomorrow! We are rooting for the 49ers! ๐๐
